The Rotorcraft Flight Instructor is responsible for delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction. This pivotal role ensures all training adheres rigorously to applicable aviation regulations and FlightSafety's esteemed training principles, directly contributing to the qualification and ongoing professional development of aviation personnel.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $88,500.00 to $150,000.00 annually. Compensation is determined by a multitude of factors, including a candidate’s specific qualifications, educational background, pertinent skills, and extensive experience, alongside current market demands. These critical factors collectively influence the final salary or wage offered.

The incumbent must be capable of performing duties that regularly require the use of hands for manipulation, reaching with hands and arms, and effective verbal communication and hearing. The role may necessitate standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and occasional tasting or smelling.
Specific physical requirements include the ability to: reach, exert pressure, and manipulate rudder controls or anti-torque pedals with both feet; reach and manipulate numerous controls within a simulator device from an instructor’s chair; safely enter and exit a simulator via a provided ramp; move efficiently between the instructor station, screen, and podium in a classroom setting; and exit a malfunctioned simulator device even when it is in a severely pitched attitude. Essential vision abilities encompass close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the capacity to adjust focus.
The position requires regularly lifting and/or moving items up to 10 pounds, and frequently lifting and/or moving items up to 25 pounds.
The work environment frequently involves proximity to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally, the employee may work in elevated or precarious locations, in varying outside weather conditions, and may be exposed to wet/humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold or heat, risks of electrical shock, radiation, and vibration.
