Embraer Praetor 600 First Officer Sirio Manchester, United Kingdom Sirio, a global aircraft management company with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Embraer Praetor 600 First Officer to join its dynamic team. Headquartered at Farnborough Airport, England, Sirio is a vital member of the Directional Aviation Portfolio, renowned for its excellence in managing a fleet of nearly 20 aircraft. The First Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring technically accurate, safe, and world-class transportation experiences for all passengers, seamlessly transitioning between the roles of professional aviator and in-flight service provider. This position supports an Embraer Praetor 600, contributing to a pilot team of three operating on a 6/4 schedule. The role requires a willingness to be based in Manchester, United Kingdom.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient execution of assigned flight schedules, adhering to all regulatory and manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Personally welcome and engage with passengers pre-flight, providing detailed briefings on the trip, confirming itineraries, offering weather updates, and explaining any changes.
  • Serve as a dedicated liaison between passengers and Sirio throughout the entire journey, from arrival at the FBO to safe departure from the final destination.
  • Deliver impeccable in-flight service, including the responsible handling of alcohol, catering service, and meticulous loading and stowing of all baggage.
  • Uphold the cabin's integrity by performing thorough cleaning, organization, and stocking procedures before each trip.
  • Flexibly undertake additional responsibilities as assigned based on specific assignments.
  • Working knowledge of all applicable EASA Regulations
  • Strong organizational skills & advanced multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills
  • Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email and web-based applications
  • Passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere

  • Valid UK CAA ATPL (EASA ATPL & Medical desirable but not mandatory)
  • 1,000 hours Total Time
  • Over 150 hours Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS) time is desirable.
  • Minimum 250 hours Multi Pilot Instrument Time
  • ME-IR (A) on UK CAA License
  • Unrestricted Class 1 UK CAA Medical
  • MCC Course certificate or MP Rating on UK CAA License
  • Hold an advanced UPRT qualification or have completed, within the preceding 3 years, the training and checking in accordance with points ORO.FC.220 or ORO.FC.230 of Annex III (Part-ORO)
  • Valid CAA Class 1 Medical
  • Hold a valid Passport
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP), minimum level 5
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport and Corporate operations desirable
  • Must possess the legal right to work in the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of Europe and to all cities/countries that Sirio serves
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays and overnight trips
  • Employment is conditional upon successful completion of Initial Training that includes a Type Rating on the assigned fleet
  • Ability to complete day-to-day tasks associated with the operation of an airplane, including loading and unloading of bags, accomplishing thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks, assisting with snow and ice removal, and the installation/removal of engine covers.
  • Ability to perform daily cleaning of aircraft as required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 23 kgs.
The work environment involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat and cold, high and precarious places, outside weather conditions, vibration, and chemicals including aviation fuels and lavatory fluid. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
