About the Role:
Flight Attendants are crucial to the Flair Airlines experience. They ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This demanding role requires adherence to Transport Canada regulations and company policies, while always prioritizing a positive and memorable journey for every traveler.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout their journey.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies, as outlined in the Flight Attendant Manual, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the flight crew to guarantee a seamless and enjoyable flight for all passengers.
- Execute in-flight service duties, including the sale of onboard products such as beverages, snacks, and meals.
- Perform pre-flight duties, including safety and security checks, aircraft cleanliness inspections, and verification of onboard provisions.
- Maintain an active and approachable presence in the cabin, providing friendly, professional, and timely assistance to passengers.
- Operate onboard safety and emergency equipment with confidence and handle security and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Uphold cabin cleanliness standards on all flights and conduct cabin grooming upon arrival as required.
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service across all aspects of onboard service.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Additional education or certifications in hospitality or customer service are considered assets.
Experience:
- A minimum of four (4) years of customer service experience.
- Prior experience as a Flight Attendant is preferred but not mandatory.

- Teamwork: Works effectively within a team, takes initiative, and actively contributes to a positive and successful in-flight experience.
- Communication: Demonstrates strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills with customers, colleagues, and superiors, including de-escalation and assertive communication techniques.
- Attitude and Behaviour: Presents a professional image aligned with Flair Airlines' vision, mission, and values, while demonstrating a positive attitude, resilience, and proactive approach.
- Ownership and Accountability: Employs innovative strategies to enhance performance, possesses a strong understanding of Flair Airlines' vision, and actively promotes products and services to drive sales success.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Canadian passport
- Minimum 19 years of age
- Ability to reach 201 cm (79 inches) flat-footed without shoes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and 22 lbs. overhead
- Fluency in English (French and other languages are considered assets)
- Residence within 90 minutes of the designated crew base or willingness to relocate
- Availability to travel on short notice, work within various time zones, and accommodate a flexible schedule (24/7), including weekends, holidays, and standby (reserve) flight schedules.
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment alcohol and drug screening
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
