WMI Co-Pilot – International Opportunities
WMI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Co-Pilot to join our international flight operations team. Based in various international locations, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient execution of our specialized airborne missions. This position reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Co-Pilot will share responsibility for piloting King Air C90 and B200 aircraft under diverse weather conditions. Key duties include assisting the Pilot in Command in maintaining all aspects of aircraft operation and maintenance, including:
- Conducting special mission operations.
- Assisting with aircraft and mission equipment maintenance.
- Managing the replenishment of seeding agents as required.
- Providing real-time weather updates to project meteorologists.
- Maintaining meticulous flight records.
- Ensuring a clean and organized aircraft and workspace.
- Providing 24/7 weather monitoring as needed.
- Representing WMI professionally, fostering teamwork, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Providing post-operation briefings to key WMI personnel.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
- Multi-engine time is preferred.
- Commercial/Multi-Engine/Instrument rating is mandatory.
- Current First or Second Class Medical Certificate is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Flexibility and willingness to relocate and travel extensively.
Physical Requirements:
The role demands physical stamina, including:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
