Aviation Captain - Executive Air Transportation

Position Overview

ExxonMobil seeks a highly qualified and safety-conscious Aviation Captain to join its esteemed team. The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of executive air transportation services utilizing company aircraft. This role operates in strict accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. The position is based in the Houston, Texas area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and executing assigned flight trips with a paramount focus on passenger safety and comfort.
  • Actively participating in project teams and committees to support and enhance aviation operations.
  • Independently managing and completing all other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Possession of a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Valid unrestricted passport with the ability to travel worldwide.
  • Current FAA Airline Transport Certificate with an English Proficient endorsement.
  • Minimum flight hour experience: 3,000 total flight hours, 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), and 1,000 hours in multiengine jet aircraft.
  • A Type Rating in Mid-size or Large Cabin aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Type Rating in a Gulfstream G280 or G650.
  • Experience in international flight crew operations.
  • A 4-year college degree.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, a strong safety mindset, and a high level of motivation.
  • Proven ability to function as a team player and support company objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to colleagues and executives.
  • Proficiency in technical and computer skills, including MS Office and iPad usage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
