Job Summary

The Director, Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring the seamless transportation of executives and clients. This role requires meticulous flight planning, strict adherence to aviation regulations, and the maintenance of the highest standards of safety and comfort. Candidates must possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage emergency situations with composure.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all aviation regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement detailed flight plans, accounting for weather conditions, fuel requirements, and operational obstacles.
• Execute thorough pre-flight inspections of aircraft systems, including engines, landing gear, and navigation equipment.
• Coordinate with air traffic control during all phases of flight to ensure operational safety.
• Manage in-flight emergencies through expert problem-solving and comprehensive knowledge of emergency protocols.
• Ensure passenger safety and comfort by addressing individual needs and providing professional communication throughout the flight.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flight Hours: Minimum of 5,000 hours total flying time, including 2,000 hours of turbine/multi-engine time.
• Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license.
• Medical: Must hold a valid First-Class Medical Certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Gulfstream G650 type rating is highly preferred.

Compensation and Travel

Travel Requirement: 90%

Pay Range: The expected pay range for all locations on this requisition is $300,000.00 – $325,000.00 annually. Compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
