Pilot in Command - Gulfstream 650

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 650 aircraft based at Dulles International Airport (KIAD) in Virginia. This position involves operating a Part 91 multi-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant. The PIC is ultimately responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while consistently providing an exceptional service experience.

The successful candidate will support a family with a long history of aircraft ownership. The aircraft's travel schedule is primarily domestic, with one to two international trips annually. While no fixed schedule exists, a three-pilot rotation provides a comfortable work-life balance. Ideal candidates are safety-minded, service-oriented, detail-focused team players.

Minimum Time Requirements

• 8-10 years of aviation experience required.
• Total flight time: 3500 hours.
• Multi-Engine Land: 1500 hours.
• Pilot in Command: 2000 hours.
• PIC Multi-Engine Land: 500 hours.
• Instrument: 300 hours.
• Jet: 500 hours.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)

• Prior corporate/business aviation experience is essential.
• FAA Type rating in Gulfstream fleet (G550 or G650) required with G650 type rating preferred.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position.
• Candidates must be local to the KIAD area or willing to relocate.
