Position Overview
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified First Officer (SIC) for a Citation Sovereign based in St. Louis, MO (KSUS). This position offers a unique opportunity to join a stable Part 135 flight department. The role involves diverse flight assignments, requiring the pilot to experience a wide range of destinations and airports.
The First Officer is responsible for the welfare of passengers regarding cabin safety and service, and must remain proficient in cabin systems, abnormal, and emergency procedures. The First Officer reports to the Chief Pilot for the performance of all assigned flight duties and to the Pilot in Command (PIC) for all duties assigned during a specific trip.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Perform pilot duties in accordance with the Company GOM, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, and Flight Manuals.

Ensure compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) and report all safety, security, or quality recommendations.

Conduct post-flight inspections of the aircraft interior, including the removal of debris, catering, and ice, and report equipment discrepancies to the PIC.

Coordinate cabin services and catering requirements as directed by the Flight Operations Center.

Maintain schedule coordination with the Chief Pilot and accurately log flight and duty times.

Report all external commercial flying to the Flight Operations Center.

Maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate and provide copies to the Flight Operations Training Department by the 20th of the due month.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum Flight Experience

Total flight time: 2,500 hours

Multi Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours

Pilot in Command (PIC): 500 hours

Instrument: 150 hours

Jet: 250 hours

Turbine Engine: 100 hours
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Hold an ATP certificate.

Prior Part 135 flight experience.

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis area (local candidates preferred).

Ability to handle high-level priorities with strong organizational skills.

Proactive decision-making capabilities.

Strong customer service orientation with the ability to uphold service standards in a strict regulatory environment.

Must maintain a First Class Medical Certificate.

Must obtain an FAA Type rating if not already held.
