Etihad Aviation Training: Theoretical Knowledge Instructor

Synopsis

The Theoretical Knowledge Instructor is responsible for delivering training courses and programs that meet the licensing and training requirements for Etihad Aviation Training's flight crew members, instructors, and examiners. This role adheres to regulations mandated by the relevant regulatory authority, and complies with the policies, procedures, and programs outlined in the applicable Training Manuals and Operations Manual Part D.

Accountabilities

• Conduct Etihad Aviation Training's theoretical knowledge training programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and company objectives.
• Deliver relevant training programs with the highest standards of quality and standardization.
• Maintain consistent coordination with the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor, promptly addressing and resolving any issues raised regarding the training of assigned cadets.
• Conduct full-time instructional activities at Etihad Aviation Training, ensuring that training protocols are up-to-date and incorporated into the training regimen. This ensures trainees receive the highest level of training standards.
• Guarantee approved lesson plans are delivered as scripted, adhering to company standards.
• Monitor the progress of assigned trainees, particularly those identified as having potential progress issues.
• Identify safety risks in accordance with Etihad Aviation Training's risk assessment process. Ensure appropriate risk mitigation steps are implemented to maintain a safe workplace.

Education & Experience

• Completion of secondary school (A-Level or equivalent), with a college degree being an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering theoretical knowledge instruction, preferably at an EASA/GCAA-approved ATO conducting integrated ATPL/MPL courses.
• Possesses relevant operational knowledge and a background in the subjects to be taught.
• Meets other applicable GCAA regulatory requirements as outlined in CAR-FCL and CAR-ORA pertaining to the specified position.
• Holds or has held a professional pilot's license (an advantage).
