A Flight Instructor is sought to deliver comprehensive ground and flight training programs for ab initio student pilots. A key duty is ensuring all training adheres strictly to the approved syllabus and is compliant with GCAA regulations. Maintaining accurate and detailed student training records and logs is also essential.
Candidates must possess a valid Flight Instructor Rating endorsed by the GCAA or an equivalent authority. A minimum Commercial Pilot License (CPL) validated by the GCAA is required. Successful completion of an approved Flight Instructor Course is mandatory. Applicants should have accumulated at least 1,500 total flight hours, including a minimum of 1,000 total instructional hours. A minimum English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 is required, with Level 5 preferred. Strong foundational knowledge of aviation principles and effective instructional techniques is essential. The ability to effectively work with and mentor entry-level students is a key requirement.
