The Role: Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) / Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE)

As part of Emirates Airline’s continued expansion, the Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) is responsible for delivering comprehensive training using Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) and conducting engaging ground school instruction. Candidates for the SFE role will also perform examination duties. All activities are conducted in strict accordance with GCAA regulations and Emirates’ stringent operational standards. This position is ideally suited to highly professional instructors who possess a strong training ethos, exemplary Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills, and an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and instructional excellence.

Role Requirements

Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold or have previously held a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) / Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
  • A minimum of 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) experience on multi-pilot jet aircraft
  • At least 12 months of experience as an instructor or examiner
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher
