Compensation and Benefits
Etihad Airways offers a competitive annual package encompassing a basic salary, flying pay, a housing allowance, and layover and meal allowances. The opportunity exists to earn up to 513,732 AED (USD 138,318) tax-free per annum based on 75 hours of flying per month. Annual salary increments are awarded based on performance. Additional benefits include:

The Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct flights in compliance with the current flight plan, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Captain's instructions. In the Captain's absence at the controls, they will notify the Captain of any changes to the flight plan, Air Traffic Control (ATC) directives, or geographical position upon their return.
- Assist the Captain as requested with administrative duties related to the flight.
- Confirm the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check on the aircraft's geographical position, ensuring safe terrain and weather clearance.
- Maintain a high personal standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance, representing Etihad Airways professionally at all times.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 2500 hours of total flying time.
- A minimum of 1500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit, or high-performance military jet.
- Experience on Boeing glass cockpits within the last three years.
- Minimum 500 hours on 777/787 aircraft and currently flying.
- Currently flying any commercial/charter aircraft above medium aircraft type (7000kg).
- Current and unrestricted ICAO ATPL. Frozen ATPLs are not accepted unless held by a UAE citizen.
- Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate.
- Maximum age limit of 50 years old.
- English Language Fluency (written and verbal) at Level 4 or better.
- For hours accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours will be counted towards the required minimums.
Glass Cockpit Definition: Aircraft with a Flight Management System (FMS) coupled to Automatic Pilot Flight Director System (APFDS).
