Key Responsibilities:
The specialized Flight Instructor will be primarily responsible for delivering comprehensive and high-quality flight and ground instruction to aspiring Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) applicants. This role ensures that students meet all FAA standards and are thoroughly prepared for successful careers in aviation.
Hiring Requirements:
Prospective candidates are expected to meet the following essential qualifications to be considered for this pivotal role:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Possession of a minimum high school diploma or GED.
- A current FAA medical certificate is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Hold a minimum of an FAA Commercial Pilot License or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Preference will be given to pilots who currently hold their CFI or CFII certificates.
- Maintain a verifiable record of safe driving and flying.
- A minimum of two years of flight instructing (teaching) experience.
- Accumulation of 200 hours of dual instruction.
