Emirates Flight Training is seeking a qualified Synthetic Flight Examiner (Ground) with a B737 type rating to join their team in Dubai. This non-flying, ground-based role is pivotal in supporting the Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and Evidence Based Training (EBT) environment. The successful candidate will utilise Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) to conduct pilot evaluations, assess performance across various training stages, and provide crucial feedback and recommendations to enhance instructional effectiveness and maintain high safety standards, all in compliance with GCAA regulations.
The Synthetic Flight Examiner (Ground) will be responsible for conducting regulatory and company-mandated proficiency checks, skill tests, and assessments using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs). This role involves evaluating pilot performance against established benchmarks during recurrent, type rating, recency, and upgrade training sessions, ensuring objectivity and consistency. The examiner will meticulously complete and submit detailed examination reports, identify pilot performance gaps, and recommend remedial training. Furthermore, the position contributes to training programme development, course reviews, and improvements to instructional methodology, playing a key part in upholding safety and competency standards within Emirates Flight Training.
