Role Overview
The organization is seeking a professional, highly disciplined Pilot in Command (PIC) for the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. This crucial role ensures the safe, efficient, and regulatory compliant execution of all assigned flights and duties under Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 91. The Pilot in Command serves as a key representative of the flight department, managing complex operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and passenger service. This position reports directly to the Chief Pilot.
Key Responsibilities
The Pilot in Command is responsible for, but not limited to, the following core duties:
- Executes all operational duties as a flight crew member under FAR Part 91, prioritizing safety, security, and strict regulatory compliance.
- Provides essential support to the Chief Pilot in the ongoing maintenance and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), aircraft manuals, and required operational documentation.
- Manages the preparation and inventory of onboard amenities, ensuring a superior passenger experience prior to and during flights.
- Demonstrates exceptional ability to manage complex logistical tasks and effectively resolve non-routine operational challenges with professional competence.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the following mandatory professional and experiential criteria:
- Must possess a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with a Multi-Engine Commercial rating.
- A minimum of two (2) years of proven experience within the corporate or business aviation sector is mandatory.
- Residency Requirement: The successful candidate must currently reside, or be willing to relocate, within a one-hour driving radius of KCLT (Charlotte Douglas International Airport).
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
