Lead Captain - Gulfstream 500

Clay Lacy Aviation, a renowned leader in private aviation, seeks an experienced and highly motivated Lead Captain to join their esteemed team. This full-time, contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to pilot a Gulfstream 500 under Part 91/135 operations, based out of KOPF.

Leadership & Expertise: The ideal candidate demonstrates a proven track record of leadership, effective crew management, and clear communication with aircraft owners. They possess a deep understanding of aviation regulations and best practices, consistently upholding the highest standards of safety and service.

Responsibilities Include:

Acting as Lead Captain on a Gulfstream 500.
Operating under Part 91/135 regulations with an approximate annual flight time of 250 hours.
Maintaining a strong command of all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manuals, and standard operating procedures.
Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with crew members and aircraft owners.
Participating in pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings as mandated by DOT/FAA regulations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 3,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
Minimum 1,000 hours Turbine time.
ATP certification and Gulfstream 500 Type Rating with a minimum of 200 hours in Type.
Demonstrated Lead Captain experience.
Unrestricted travel authorization to EU countries, Canada, and the Caribbean.
Residence within a two-hour driving radius of KOPF is preferred. Commuters with reasonable commute times may be considered.
