Overview
Chick-fil-A is seeking a dedicated and professional Pilot to join our aviation team. The successful candidate will be accountable to the Director of Aviation for the safe conduct of assigned flights in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. As a Pilot, you will contribute to our strategic goals by fostering inclusive teamwork, embracing innovation, and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) holds exclusive and final authority regarding the safe operation of the aircraft, including decisions related to weather, mechanical conditions, and flight hazards.
Responsibilities

Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft in total compliance with federal, state, local, and foreign regulations.

Lead and support the organizational structure, protocol, and chain-of-command.

Manage all aspects of flight planning, including weather analysis, fuel and oxygen requirements, weight and balance calculations, and flight filing.

Verify that the crew possesses all necessary documentation, dispatch papers, and Jeppesen revisions.

Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections and ensure timely communication of maintenance defects.

Monitor flight time and duty time limitations as defined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM).

Brief passengers and crew members on all necessary procedures, including safety, taxi routes, and emergency protocols.

Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws for international operations.

Complete post-flight administrative duties, including expense filing, flight time recording, and aircraft security.

Mentor crew members undergoing upgrade training or qualification.

Execute duties as a designated "Trip Lead" when assigned, serving as the main point of contact for trip status, maintenance issues, and schedule deviations.
Required Qualifications

Second-in-Command (SIC) Requirements:
Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time or 500 hours turbine experience. Experience operating multi-engine, turbojet airplanes, preferably in the executive air transportation field.

Ability to meet all regulatory requirements for the specific make and model of company aircraft.

Must maintain a First-Class Medical Certificate annually (or as required by country); FAA minimum requirement is a Second-Class Certificate.

Valid radio telephone license.

English proficiency as specified on the license.
Preferred Qualifications

Captain Requirements:
Minimum of 3,000 hours total time, including at least 500 hours as PIC Turbine and 1,000+ hours in multi-engine turbine aircraft, preferably in executive air transport. Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.

Embraer EMB-550 experience.

Background in BASC or International Standard for Business Aircraft Operators (IS-BAO) environments.

Completion of an authorized, approved school on the type of aircraft flown within the last twelve calendar months.

Valid pro card or equivalent from an approved aviation school.
