Responsibilities:

The Captain is primarily responsible for acting as pilot-in-command on the Gulfstream 450 and Citation X aircraft based in Toronto (YYZ). Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring all flights are conducted in a safe manner.
Supporting daily operational activities, including availability on reserve days.
Liaising effectively with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to ensure all operational and service requirements are met.
Fostering a collaborative environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and solutions.
Providing direct customer service to clients, contributing significantly to an exceptional client experience.
Participating in monthly training courses and performing other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess:

Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating.
Valid Transport Canada Medical Certificate.
Canadian Radio Telephone License.
Minimum of 4000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 2000 multi-engine PIC hours; jet or turbine time is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
Previous international flying experience (specifically Europe & South America) is required.
Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance.
Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and Safety Management System (SMS) practices is mandatory.
A positive mindset and the strong ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships across the organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional client service, organization, and prioritization skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.

A University degree or College diploma in Aviation is preferred, and previous time on type is also preferred.
