Central Mountain Air, a leading provider of vital air connectivity to remote communities in Alberta and British Columbia, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Beech 1900 Captain to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a Captain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of passengers and cargo across our unique network, upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Beech 1900 aircraft, adhering to all applicable regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a high level of professional conduct and communication with passengers and crew members.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, consistently delivering a positive experience for our valued clientele.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Total Time: 2,000 hours
- Preferred PIC Time: 1,000 hours
- Preferred Total Multi Time: 500 hours
- Canadian Commercial License with Multi-Engine IFR rating
- Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
- No Transport Canada violations or suspensions
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid passport
- Strong safety orientation and adherence to safety protocols
- Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules, including occasional overnights away from home.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
