Synthetic Flight Instructor - Business Aviation Training

Overview

CAE, a recognized global leader in civil aviation training, is experiencing significant expansion within its Business Aviation Training Division. This growth has created multiple full-time Synthetic Flight Instructor positions based at the Burgess Hill (West Sussex) Training Centre. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for professional pilots with a background in training and a passion for aviation education to transition into a dynamic and fulfilling career.

The Role

Successful candidates will be instrumental in delivering high-quality synthetic flight instruction across a range of aircraft platforms, including Falcon, Gulfstream, Citation, and Challenger. CAE is committed to leveraging the existing experience of aviation professionals, transforming them into world-class Synthetic Flight Instructors and subject matter experts. This role offers the chance to guide clients through comprehensive training programs, with the added benefit of reduced time away from home.

Responsibilities include providing expert synthetic flight instruction, conducting classroom-based training sessions, and meticulously maintaining accurate trainee records in accordance with company policies. Instructors will work with state-of-the-art synthetic training equipment and the latest aircraft technologies.

Location

This position is based at the CAE Burgess Hill Training Centre. A commitment to working onsite five days per week is required.

Note: A training bond will apply to this position, with the value determined by the candidate's previous experience and ratings.
