The TBM Instructor will be instrumental in delivering high-quality ground school, simulator, and aircraft training for Initial, Recurrent, and Specialty training courses. A key responsibility is to prioritize client progress and enhance customer performance through a focused approach, tailored training, and constructive feedback during briefing and debriefing sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver standardized training in classroom, simulator, and aircraft environments.
  • Provide Initial, Recurrent, and differences training.
  • Uphold CAE SIMCOM standards and adhere to stringent safety protocols in all training activities.
  • Employ effective verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills to facilitate learning.
  • Provide constructive feedback to customers and rigorously evaluate their progress.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Commercial Pilot's License issued by the FAA.
  • An FAA CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) or CFI-I (Instrument Instructor) rating.
  • A valid FAA Class 2 Medical Certificate.
  • A minimum of 750 total flight hours, with at least 200 hours in the TBM model aircraft.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet-based applications.
  • Exceptional fluency in English, encompassing verbal, written, reading, and effective communication skills.
