Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional flight training within state-of-the-art flight simulators and provide engaging ground school instruction, strictly adhering to relevant regulatory agency guidelines, CAE-approved curricula, and customer specifications.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding clients comprehensively through their training programs.
- Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman per business needs, typically after 1.5+ years of service.
- Provide simulator/flight or classroom instruction across assigned aircraft types for the issuance of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certifications, and pilot qualifications.
- Conduct thorough and professional pre and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards.
- Execute essential administrative duties, including meticulous completion of training records, recommending remedial training when necessary, and diligently tracking personal instructional qualifications and activity.
- Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of new curricula and courseware as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Holds or meets qualifications to receive an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Type Rating.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, complemented by strong, effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and other internet-based programs.
- Willingness to participate in CAE’s Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug & Alcohol testing program.
- Authorized to live and work in the United States.

- Prior experience flying business aircraft.

- Proven ability to communicate complex information effectively across various professional levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Unwavering commitment to customer service, consistently delivering exceptional "red carpet" support.
- Adeptness at tailoring training sessions to meet the diverse needs of a broad customer base.
- Exceptional attention to detail, maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and FAA requirements.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this role include:
- Capable of performing tasks requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to sit in a confined space for 4-6 hours at a time with limited breaks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours, with limited breaks.
- Ability to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn as required by the role.
