CAE is seeking a skilled and experienced Aviation Instructor specializing in T-44A/C aircraft systems and operational procedures. The instructor provides high-quality aviation training in classroom and simulator environments and practical settings. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) when required and may contribute to additional services such as courseware review and various administrative and collateral duties, including publications, safety, quality audits, scheduling, and other assigned tasks.

The incumbent must comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures. This includes the personal responsibility for proper marking and handling of all information and materials and refraining from divulging information or access to unauthorized personnel or outside the company without approval. All government and proprietary information is accessed and stored electronically on company-provided resources. Eligibility for a DoD Personal Security Clearance is required.
This role operates in office, classroom, and simulator environments, utilizing standard office equipment. The position requires working in a complex military training environment, communicating, and submitting reports using company, government, and personal computer devices, plus current telephone and fax systems. The work environment may involve risks of electrical shock and exposure to moving mechanical parts driven by high-pressure hydraulics. At times, exposure to extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noises may occur. Physical demands include the ability to stand to conduct academic instruction, walk and/or climb stairs and ladders into simulators or aircraft cockpits, and stoop, bend, and crawl on top of or under machinery. The ability to detect odors or hear specific noises (e.g., bangs) to identify problems or flaws in simulators is also required.
