MH-60R Pilot Instructor - Royal Australian Navy

About the Role:

CAE is seeking an experienced and dedicated MH-60R Pilot Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in training the Royal Australian Navy, delivering instruction in classroom, simulator, and practical environments. You will also contribute to the development and review of curriculum materials, acting as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive academic instruction and systems training in support of RAN MH-60R courses.
• Evaluate and document student training and mission performance, ensuring optimal learning outcomes.
• Assist in the testing and evaluation of training devices and equipment.
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of curriculum, syllabus, and testing methodologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven instructional experience in an aircrew training environment on military rotary wing platforms.
• Minimum 500 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew, medium helicopters, or equivalent training authority experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in maintaining and improving curriculum and providing subject matter expert advice.

Security Requirements:

Successful candidates must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance. Current holders of a SECRET (NV1) clearance are strongly preferred.
