MH-60R Sensor Systems Instructor

About this Role

This role involves providing comprehensive MH-60R Sensor Systems instruction in a variety of settings, including aircraft, classrooms, and simulators. The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, contributing to the development and improvement of course curriculum as needed. The position is based at HMAS Albatross, Nowra.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled CI Led/supported training for Training Device and Systems Training.
• Evaluate and document student training and mission performance.
• Review and assess existing curriculum, recommending improvements as necessary.
• Deliver classroom instruction and provide feedback for improvement.
• Assist in training device testing.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate possesses:

• A minimum of 500 hours of military flying experience.
• Recent experience as an MH-60R SENSO instructor/evaluator is highly desired.
• Demonstrated strong instructional experience in an aircrew training environment.
• Completion of at least one sea-going tour is desirable.

Security Requirements

Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
