Role and Responsibilities

As a global leader in Civil Aviation training, we are now looking to recruit a Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to join our training team and have responsibility for the supervision of theoretical knowledge instructors and for the standardization of all theoretical knowledge instruction.

The role we are offering you

+ In conjunction with the Training Performance function of the CGTO, ensure instructors deliver training to the expected standard

+ Accountable for defining the requirements ensuring continuous development and revision of the Operations and Training Manuals, SOPs and Syllabi, ensuring that training is carried out in strict adherence to them and any necessary actions taken

+ Define theoretical knowledge instructors training before release as theoretical knowledge instructors

+ Review and observe student feedback to ensure that the training delivered is in line with requirements set

+ In conjunction with the Training Design function of the CGTO, ensure the training programs and courseware comply with regulator and CAE standards

+ Drive compliance in the FTO ATO working collaboratively with the compliance departments responsible

Our ideal candidate has

+ Extensive experience as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor in the areas relevant for the training provided by the ATO

+ Prior experience as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor at an ATO

+ Experience of regulatory requirements for all courses for the FTO

+ Previous managerial and customer service focused experience with a proven record of success

+ In depth knowledge of KSA 100 protocols

+ Adept at problem solving and finding the right solution in line with business requirements

+ Natural influencer and persuader

What kind of person will succeed in this team?

You’ll have strong attention to detail with a strong knowledge of regulatory requirements across all courses along with an in depth knowledge of KSA 100 protocols. An inspirational leader with the ability to motivate and drive standardisation across the training team.

Location

Gatwick Training Centre onsite with the opportunity for remote working along with 25% travel to Airport Training Centre locations
