C-27J Loadmaster Instructor

About the Role

CAE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a C-27J Loadmaster Instructor. Reporting to the C-27J Lead Instructor, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing training, administrative, and subject matter expertise support to the Spartan Loadmaster Initial Qualification (LIQ) course. This role encompasses the preparation, delivery, assessment, maintenance, and evaluation of training and assessment materials, including classroom, Fuselage Trainer (FuT), and simulator instruction as required.

Responsibilities:

• Assume end-to-end responsibility for C-27J Loadmaster training.
• Conduct mission briefs and debriefs as appropriate.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all training requirements.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training materials that support syllabus delivery.

Qualifications:

• Hold, or have the ability to gain, a Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or similar, and/or recognized equivalent experience.
• Possess previous airborne loadmaster experience.
• Have completed, or be capable of completing, the ground training segments of the C-27J Loadmaster Conversion Course.
• Demonstrate previous airborne instructor experience on military or civilian transport aircraft with more than 300 hours of flying instructional experience.

Security Requirements:

As a major client of the Australian Department of Defence, the successful candidate must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance and ideally possess a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
