CAE | Instructor

CAE is seeking experienced Flight Instructors to join their team at their global academy, delivering comprehensive flight, simulator, and ground instruction. This temporary, fixed-term position requires a strong commitment to student success and adherence to stringent safety and quality standards.

About the Role

The Flight Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality flight, simulator, and ground instruction to students, ensuring they meet course objectives and develop essential professional attributes. This role demands a proactive approach to student progress monitoring, safety management, and training administration. Key duties include delivering training in strict compliance with established standards, identifying and rectifying student performance issues, maintaining aircraft status records, and contributing to the continuous improvement of instructional quality and safety. The instructor serves as a role model, demonstrating exemplary professional conduct.

Requirements

• Possession of a current Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
• No aircraft accident or aviation violation convictions.
• English language proficiency at ICAO Level 4.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly structured environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be team-oriented and results-oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Outlook.

Qualifications

• Meeting minimum requirements as specified in applicable Training Standards and by local aviation authorities.
• A Flight Instructor Qualification is advantageous.
• Previous trainer or teacher experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
