About the Role

An emerging aviation business in East Asia seeks a qualified Bell 505 & R44 Instructor Pilot. This role involves conducting flight training, adhering to schedules and company procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring student progress and safety. The company operates a diverse fleet for commercial air transport, charter, and specialized aviation needs, prioritizing high safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct R44 and Bell 505 flight training to approved standards.
  • Follow schedules, training programs, and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate reports, records, and logbooks.
  • Monitor and mentor student progress.
  • Report incidents and ensure safety compliance.
  • Adhere to aviation regulations, manuals, and SOPs.
  • Support training improvements.
  • Ensure student readiness for flights.
  • Maintain aircraft and training resources.
  • Promote safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Valid CPL/ATPL (Helicopter) with recent flying activity.
  • Minimum 2,000 flight hours, including at least 700 instructional hours and 500 hours of instructional flight experience.
  • At least 100 hours of instrument flight (IFR environment) and a minimum of 100 hours of night flying.
  • Valid Class 1 medical certificate with no restrictions except corrective lenses.
  • Minimum ICAO Level 4 English proficiency.
  • Experience conducting initial training courses (minimum two courses).
  • Previous FI/H experience in an ATO is preferred (civilian or military background is a plus).
  • Type rating on R44 and Bell 505 is an advantage.
  • Over 5 years of aviation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of flight training, CPL/ATPL subjects, and aviation regulations (CAR OPS, AIP, CAAP, ICAO).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Graduate of a pilot university or professional aviation school.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Terms and Benefits
