A320 Type Rated Instructor - Air Côte d'Ivoire

Air Côte d'Ivoire, a leading flag carrier in Africa, is experiencing rapid growth and seeks experienced and qualified A320 Type Rated Instructors to join their team via a Brookfield Aviation contract. Operating from its hub, Air Côte d'Ivoire provides frequent, direct, and conveniently scheduled flights to over 20 international destinations in West, East, and Central Africa. The airline boasts a modern fleet of aircraft, 70% of which are new and equipped with GSM connectivity and onboard Wifi, enhancing passenger experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic airline with promising growth projections, including potential fleet upgrades to the A330.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

  • Hold a valid ICAO/EASA ATPL license.
  • Possess a valid and current A320 Type Rating.
  • Hold a valid Medical Class 1 Certificate.
  • Demonstrate English Language Proficiency Level 4.
  • Have completed a flight on type within the last 12 months.
  • Accumulate a minimum total flight time of 3000 hours.
  • Possess a minimum of 1000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on type.
  • Have a minimum of 500 PIC hours as a TRI.
  • Proficiency in French is advantageous.

Terms:

This position offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package:

  • Monthly Remuneration: $10,000 USD.
  • Normal Working Base: Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
  • Block Hours: Up to 90 hours per month.
  • Overtime and Per Diem provided.
  • Flexible Working Pattern: Choice of 45 days on/15 days off OR 60 days on/20 days off.
  • Positioning flights provided by the airline.
  • Accommodation and ground transport (for duty only) provided.
  • Visa/working permit facilitated by the airline.
  • International Medical Insurance provided.

  • Resume, clearly specifying flight hours.
  • Valid ATPL with valid A320 Type Rating endorsement (must be valid for at least the first 6 months of employment).
  • The last 3 pages of the logbook, including total hours and the date of the last flight on the A320.
  • Valid Medical Class 1 Certificate (must be valid for at least the first 6 months of employment).
  • Criminal Records certificate.
  • Passport: Validity of at least 6 months.

Shortlisted candidates will receive an email from the airline requesting them to book a Sigmund Test and personality test. Positive results will lead to the organization of hotels and flights to Istanbul or France for a SIM assessment.
