The Role

Astonfly seeks qualified and experienced professionals to join its teaching team as Flight Instructors. This role requires expertise in the following competencies: FI (Flight Instructor), CRI (Class Rating Instructor), and/or IRI (Instrument Rating Instructor). The successful candidate will contribute to the school's growth and success, collaborate within a team, and deliver high-quality training to meet client expectations. Astonfly offers support for obtaining additional certifications, such as Night FI, FI-I, FE, CRI-I, IRI-I, CRE, and IRE, based on the candidate's qualifications and career aspirations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct flight missions, including practical flight instruction and flight exams.
  • Deliver theoretical lessons, simulator sessions, and conduct briefings/debriefings.
  • Develop educational materials and update documentation as required.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL) for airplanes.
  • Class rating on single-engine piston (SEP) and multi-engine piston (MEP) airplanes.
  • At least an experienced FI qualification, with CRI and/or IRI qualifications being advantageous.
  • Instrument Rating (IR SE and IR ME).
  • Operational English proficiency meeting FCL.055 Level 5 and/or English Level C1.

Professional Experience & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Minimum of 500 flight hours, including at least 200 hours of instruction (mandatory).
  • Possession of a FI Night qualification (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively contribute to a growing organization.
  • Possesses a responsible, autonomous, dynamic, and client-oriented approach.
  • Strong collaboration skills with various company departments.
