Aviation Co-pilot/First Officer - Offshore Operations
About the Role
Bristow Group is actively recruiting a highly skilled and safety-conscious Aviation Co-pilot/First Officer to join its esteemed offshore operations team. This critical position requires unwavering dedication to operational excellence, stringent adherence to all aviation regulations, and a profound commitment to passenger and crew safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operates assigned aircraft with paramount focus on safety and efficiency, strictly adhering to Bristow's operational standards and all governing aviation regulations.
- Prioritizes safety and customer service in all aspects of duty, both within and beyond the aircraft.
- Maintains comprehensive situational awareness across the entire operational region, continuously monitoring weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea states, and customer offshore facility status.
- Expertly manages passenger movements, aircraft ground operations, pre-flight briefings, and baggage loading to ensure optimal safety and regulatory compliance.
- Completes all necessary flight planning documentation, preflight checks, fueling procedures, and oversees manifesting processes to guarantee adherence to protocols.
- Meticulously maintains accurate electronic and paper records, including journey logs, personal flight and duty sheets, and aircraft technical logbook entries.
- Promptly reports any aircraft mechanical irregularities by documenting them in both paper and electronic technical logs, and diligently verifies aircraft airworthiness prior to, during, and following all flights.
- Facilitates seamless communication with clients, ensuring Bristow Group is consistently represented in a highly professional and courteous manner.
- Stays current with all evolving Bristow operational policies and safety procedures.
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed by the Lead Pilot or Director of Operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Co-pilot/First Officer in offshore aviation operations, with proficiency in at least one of the following aircraft types: AW139, SK92, EC175, or SK76C++.
- Possession of verifiable flight hours, meeting the minimum requirements: 500 total flight hours, including a minimum of 250 hours of twin-engine flight and 100 hours of flight in command.
- Valid US Visa.
