About the Role

Minerva Foods is seeking a qualified First Officer to join its operations in Tangará da Serra, Mato Grosso, Brazil. This role supports the company's Cessna Caravan C208 turboprop operations, involving comprehensive flight preparation, coordination with relevant agencies and suppliers, meticulous aircraft inspections, and proficient navigation and aircraft system operation. The First Officer will also ensure passenger service readiness, maintain accurate operational records, and adhere to the aircraft's maintenance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with control agencies, suppliers, and other aircraft to gather essential information regarding weather, air traffic, and airport conditions.
• Contribute to flight activity planning, including securing parking stands or slots and ensuring all necessary onboard documentation is current.
• Perform and assist with internal and external ground inspections of the aircraft to uphold its condition and verify the availability of cabin service items.
• Support navigation and operate aircraft systems according to the flight plan, adhering strictly to air traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Provide expert advice on route feasibility, regulatory compliance, and operational conditions.
• Maintain detailed records of aircraft information for tracking flight hours, flight-related expenses, and travel costs.
• Monitor and manage the aircraft's maintenance schedule.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid CMA (aviation medical certificate).
• A valid MNTE rating.
• A valid IFR rating.
• Completed secondary education or higher.
• Availability to reside and work in Tangará da Serra, Mato Grosso, Brazil.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 1,500 flight hours on turboprop aircraft.
• A minimum of 200 flight hours in command (PIC) of the Cessna Caravan model.
• English proficiency at Level 4 or higher is preferred.
