The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) seeks a skilled Airplane Pilot to join its Aircraft Services organization in the Pacific Northwest. About the Role
As an Airplane Pilot with BPA Aircraft Services, individuals will operate multi-engine turbine aircraft, such as the Pilatus PC-24, serving as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and Second-in-Command (SIC). Responsibilities include transporting agency leadership, engineers, and essential personnel across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The role demands operational authority, thorough risk management, and advanced multi-crew cockpit collaboration, adhering to professional Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles. Collaboration with aircraft maintenance for fleet reliability is also a key aspect of the position.

The position requires an initial drug test prior to appointment and is subject to random drug or drug and alcohol testing thereafter.

Qualifications

Possession of a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a Multi-Engine Land class rating.

Minimum flight hour requirements include:

1,500 total flight hours.
-
100 flight hours within the last 12 months.

250 airplane flight hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).

500 flight hours multi-engine airplane, with at least 250 flight hours in multi-engine airplanes with a max gross weight greater than 12,500 pounds.

75 flight hours of instrument flight time, including at least 10 hours of actual IMC.

75 flight hours of night time.

Must hold or be able to obtain, within one year of hire, a type rating in a Pilatus PC-24.

Must possess and maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Pilot Certificate must state "English Proficient".
