About the Role

Serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and Second-in-Command (SIC) operating commuter-category turbine aircraft.

Transport BPA leadership, engineers, and essential personnel throughout the Pacific Northwest, other U.S. regions, and into Canada.

Exercise flight authority and operational risk management, making critical safety decisions regarding flight continuation, diversion, or termination.

Collaborate in a professional, dual-pilot crew environment utilizing advanced Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles.

Support fleet reliability and airworthiness by working with maintenance teams, providing operational write-ups, assisting with ground operations, and conducting functional check flights.

Must be a United States Citizen.

Must abide by Selective Service registration requirements if male.

Must report in person to the official duty location.

Subject to initial and random drug and alcohol testing.

May be subject to periodic physical examinations if exposed to health hazards.

Requires a preliminary background check.
Qualifications

Possession of a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a Multi-Engine Land class rating.

Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours.

Minimum of 100 flight hours within the last twelve (12) months.

Minimum of 250 airplane flight hours as Pilot-in-Command.

Minimum of 500 flight hours in multi-engine airplanes, with at least 250 hours in multi-engine airplanes with a max gross weight greater than 12,500 pounds.

Minimum of 75 flight hours of instrument flight time, including at least 10 hours of actual IMC.

Minimum of 75 flight hours of night time.

Must hold or be able to attain, within one year of hire, a type rating in a Pilatus PC-24.

Must possess and maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Pilot Certificate must state "English Proficient".
