As an MQ-28 Operator/Pilot, you will play a critical role in the development and deployment of the groundbreaking Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat, a platform poised to redefine Defence operational capabilities.

Based at RAAF Base Amberley in Brisbane, your responsibilities will include:
- Guiding the development of the MQ-28 autonomous system, ensuring it meets the specific needs of the Australian Defence Force.
- Operating the MQ-28 during critical ground and flight testing, particularly in manned/unmanned teaming (MUM-T) scenarios.
- Assisting in the development of crucial capability tools to support the MQ-28 system.
- Creating comprehensive flight/mission plans and collaborating with the team to achieve test and safety objectives.
- Evaluating system performance and human factors to guarantee the MQ-28 meets capability goals and future warfighter requirements.
- Employing advanced simulation tools to conduct forward-looking concepts analysis.
- Providing expert advice to stakeholders on airworthiness criteria and the operational employment of Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA).
- Supporting the training and instruction of customer aircrew on the MQ-28 system.
To excel in this role, you possess:
- Proven experience as a Defence aviator (fast jet/heavy jet pilot, WSO, EWO) with the aptitude to thrive in a cutting-edge environment.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, essential for navigating the complexities of autonomous system development.
Beneficial experience includes:
- Exposure to fast jet operations, ISR sensors, and military communications.
- Familiarity with developmental/acceptance/operational testing and unmanned platforms.
This position may require periodic travel to remote test sites. Relocation assistance will be considered for the ideal candidate.
