The Opportunity

As a Training Instructor you will be part of a high performance team that provides exceptional training support for the BDA Project Land 2072 Phase 2B (Integrated – Battlefield Telecommunications Network) team located in Brisbane, Queensland.

This is an exciting time to join the team. The Battlefield Telecommunications Network team will provide instruction for what is now a proven, cutting-edge system and is being enhanced further to provide the best solutions for the end-user – the Army and Royal Australian Air Force. This will provide an ability to learn the system and prepare for opportunities that may arise from 2022 onwards.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct of training at various locations throughout Australia utilising proven training resources
  • Effective engagement with the customer (primarily Army and RAAF) and SMEs
  • Provide support for the design and development of training material
  • Support for the evaluation and update of training material

Experience/Qualifications

To be successful you will have:

  • Strong proven experience in a Telecommunications environment (if applicable please outline related Defence telecommunications experience within application)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

It will be desirable to have:

  • Knowledge in the conduct of training in the defence environment
  • Possession of a Certificate III in Telecommunications
  • Possession of qualifications in Information Communication Technology (ICT)
  • Certificate IV TAE 40116 or equivalent Training and Assessment qualification

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
