EMB-120 Pilot in Command
This position serves as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for EMB-120 aircraft on Berry Aviation on-demand cargo flights requiring a two-pilot crew. The Captain is directly responsible for the Second in Command assigned to their flight.
Total Compensation: $120,000 - $190,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the aircraft in strict adherence to company procedures.
- Monitor and assist in the loading of cargo, ensuring that all cargo and support equipment are airworthy and properly secured according to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare Weight and Balance paperwork as required by company procedures.
- Receive local weather briefings and ATC clearances to prepare the cockpit in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Remain on call during assigned periods and be capable of arriving at the assigned aircraft within 30 minutes.
- Successfully complete all company initial and recurrent training and testing as directed by the training department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Instrument privileges.
- Minimum of 1500 hours of total flight time in airplanes.
- Minimum of 500 hours of multi-engine flight time in airplanes.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a current and valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RR).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Must relocate to within 30 minutes of the designated domicile.
- Ability to travel away from domicile for extended periods.
- High School Diploma.
Preferred:
- FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
- Minimum of 3000 hours of total flight time in airplanes.
- Minimum of 1000 hours of multi-engine flight time in airplanes.
- Undergraduate Degree.
Physical or Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in confined spaces.
- Ability to manipulate, push, pull, and lift heavy objects, exceeding 150 lbs.
- Must be able to reach and stretch across objects and twist within confined spaces.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including both cold and heat.
- Ability to work in altitudes higher than sea level.
