Aviation Professional - Multi-Engine Pilot

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Engine Pilot to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute assigned flights, gathering and analyzing all relevant information including weather conditions, operating procedures, and special instructions.
Develop comprehensive flight plans, factoring in altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise control data, airport facilities, and navigational aids.
Ensure all flights adhere to FAR 135 guidelines and that all necessary documentation is present on board the aircraft for legal and safe flight operations.
Verify the completion of required airworthiness inspections and confirm the correction or proper deferral of any discrepancies in accordance with the aircraft's Minimum Equipment List (MEL), as applicable.
Conduct thorough preflight inspections and risk assessments prior to each flight.
Execute all assigned flights in strict accordance with company/customer schedules, designated routes, and load manifests.
Foster a strong culture of Crew Resource Management (CRM), ensuring all crew members are fully briefed on flight particulars, including any changes to original flight plans, passenger or cargo loads, or aircraft/operating environment conditions.
Maintain consistent communication with on-site management regarding any issues related to flight safety, aircraft maintenance, life support, customer concerns, or personnel matters.

Qualifications:

Required:

FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
Current US Passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity at all times
1,500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time
1,200 hours of multi-engine turbine time
500 hours of multi-engine PIC time
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level
High School Diploma

Preferred:

3,000 hours of total flight time
DHC-8 Type Rating
Recent DHC-8 experience
Experience in aerial delivery operations
Experience in Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations
Current and active U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level
Minimum of one year of experience as a FAR Part 135 pilot
At least one year of Government contracting experience in Overseas Contingency Operations (OCONUS) austere environments/locations

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Capable of performing aircraft piloting duties for up to 10 hours per day
Tolerance for exposure to a wide range of weather conditions while working outdoors, including extreme heat, cold, and adverse weather.
