Bechtel Corporation, a global leader in engineering, procurement, and construction, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Captain to join its elite flight operations team. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of executives and key personnel, directly supporting the company's expansive global operations and strategic initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Flight Experience:
- A minimum of 2,500 hours of total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- At least 1,500 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours in turbine aircraft.
- At least 500 hours of PIC time specifically in multi-engine turbine-powered aircraft.
- Certifications & Medical:
- Possession of a valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- A current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- While a type rating is not a prerequisite, comprehensive type-specific training will be provided by Bechtel Corporation.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and the appropriate portions of the Airmen's Information Manual (AIM).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, vital for clear and professional interactions with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in effectively dealing with executive management, government officials, and aviation service center representatives.
- Operational Readiness:
- Willingness and flexibility to work irregular hours, adapting to dynamic operational schedules.
- Ability to travel extensively for extended periods, both domestically and internationally, to meet mission requirements.
