Chief Pilot
Baron Aviation Services, a Part 135 Cargo Only carrier with over 48 years of experience, seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as Chief Pilot. Based in Rolla, Missouri, Baron Aviation Services operates a fleet of 37 Cessna Caravans on contract with FedEx, serving the Central and Southern United States.

Responsibilities:
The Chief Pilot will be responsible for a wide range of duties essential to the safe and efficient operation of the company's flight operations. These responsibilities include:
- Pilot Personnel Management: Overseeing all aspects of pilot staffing, including recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, discipline, and dismissals.
- Training and Development: Developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive pilot training programs to ensure competency and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This includes conducting and assigning check rides for pilots.
- Operational Support: Providing support to the company's daily flight operations, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining a thorough understanding of all relevant FAA regulations and company policies, ensuring adherence across all flight operations.
Qualifications:
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating (minimum requirement)
- Current Second Class Medical Certificate
- Eligibility to serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the Cessna Caravan
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as Pilot in Command under Part 121 or Part 135, with this experience gained within the last six (6) years for candidates applying for their first Chief Pilot position
- Proven ability to meet the requirements of Part 119
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to pass a comprehensive 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening
