Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilot (AW139)

Babcock MCS is seeking a qualified Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilot to join its Aviation & Critical Services team. This is a full-time, fixed-base opportunity located in Bendigo, Victoria, dedicated to supporting Ambulance Victoria operations.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will serve as an AW139 Line Pilot based in Bendigo. Applicants must reside within 60 minutes of the nominated base and maintain the flexibility to support operational requirements across all Ambulance Victoria bases.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must satisfy the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • CASA ATPL certification.
  • Class 1 Medical certificate.
  • Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and a minimum of 3 renewals.
  • Minimum 2,500 total helicopter flying hours.
  • Minimum 1,500 PIC helicopter hours.
  • Minimum 500 PIC MEH hours (excluding ICUS).
  • Minimum 250 hours of instrument flying time.
  • Minimum 100 hours of night PIC.
  • AW139 type rating with 100+ hours of experience on type.
  • NVIS rating.
  • Low-level rating with winch endorsement.
  • Prior EMS/SAR operational experience.
