An exciting opportunity to join Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO), a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police and offshore sectors. BMCSO provides world-class operations to our customers helping them to save lives and protect communities every day. Our fleet of 32 helicopters from bases across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland has been providing dedicated air ambulance support for more than 20 years and our police helicopters have been supporting UK communities for almost a decade. BMCSO constantly invests in new aircraft, equipment and training to ensure the consistent capability to deliver safe, dependable operational excellence at all times.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a Pilot to operate the H145 aircraft out of Caernarfon Airport in North West Wales.

What will you be doing?
In support of the Wales Air Ambulance Charity, you’ll carry out your duties through varied and challenging flying across a range of disciplines including Air Ambulance, HEMS, and NVIS operations, if required.

The experience you’ll bring

Hold an UK ATPL(H) or CPL(H) + IR

Either :
o 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft of which 500 hours is pilot in command on twin turbine helicopters; or
o 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS/Police operations of which 500 hours is as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters.
2000 hours minimum total helicopter experience.
500 hours operating experience in twin turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation.
20 hours VFR at night as pilot in command.

Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, Right to Work in the UK

You must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
