This role would be an excellent opportunity for someone who has Elec/Avionics trade experience and wants to move into a training role. If you are willing to learn and progress, you will be provided with the courses and training to fulfil your role. Insight to a clear progression plan will be set aside for you to develop.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a Training Instructor with Av/Elec experience behind them to carry out technical training in support of the Hawk Contract. Supporting the Training Manager in continuous improvement of all work processes, ensuring that as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and welfare at work of all employees is maintained.

What will you be doing?
Carry out instructional duties for which deemed to be qualified to Babcock employees and personnel from external companies as directed.
Assist with the preparation of course material including syllabus, presentations, training notes, lesson plans and assessments.
Carry out student interviews and course debriefs.
Maintain instructional standards, current procedures, changing trends and defects that are relevant to courses delivered and trade specialisation.
Ensure personal competency and experience records are annotated correctly and are up to date.
Carry out invigilation duties as required.

The experience you’ll bring

BTEC Level 3 extended diploma in aeronautical engineering (or equivalent)
Experience on maintenance of aircraft systems
Oral and written communication and presentation skills
Computer literate (Microsoft)

You must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
