First Officer Position – Airbus A321 – Taiwan
This exciting opportunity presents a four-year, renewable contract for a First Officer to join our Airbus A321 fleet based in Taiwan. A competitive commuting program is available.
Requirements:
- Flight Experience: Candidates must possess either 2000+ total flight hours, including 500+ hours on multi-engine, multi-crew jet aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) exceeding 20 tons; or 1500+ total flight hours, including 1000+ hours on multi-engine, multi-crew jet aircraft with an MTOW exceeding 20 tons. Additionally, a minimum of 400 hours of civil aviation co-pilot experience is required. Five years of verifiable civil aviation employment history is necessary for candidates without a Bachelor's degree; two years are required for those with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Age: No age restriction applies.
- Language Proficiency: ICAO Level 4 English language proficiency or higher is mandatory.
- Nationality: No nationality restrictions are in place.
- Licenses and Certifications: A valid ICAO ATPL, JAA ATPL(A), or FAA ATPL, along with a first-class medical certificate, is required. The license must show no limitations. Type rating is not required.
- Medical Certificate: Class A or Class 1 medical certificate is required.
- Background Check: A clean flight record (no incidents or accidents) and a clear criminal background check are mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary package ranges from NT$2,724,000 to NT$2,760,000 (based on 75 flight hours), inclusive of bonuses and per diem. The monthly salary during the training period is NT$157,500 to NT$159,500; post-training, the monthly salary ranges from NT$227,000 to NT$230,000. Time Off and Leave:
Employees receive eight days off per month (for non-commuting contracts). Commuting contracts provide eight block days off (BDO) plus additional days off, totaling 116-117 days off per year. Annual leave begins at 22 days per year (commencing three months post-first operational flight) and increases with seniority to a maximum of 42 days. Thirty days of paid sick leave are provided annually.

Taxation is subject to the Republic of China (ROC) tax law. Pension contributions adhere to ROC Labor Standard Law. A six-month probationary period commences after the first operational flight.
