Ameriflight is actively seeking qualified candidates to join their team.
This position requires a minimum of 3000 hours total flight time, including 1000 hours as Pilot-in-Command. Candidates must also possess 500 hours of multi-engine flight time and 500 hours of turbine flight time. A type rating is not initially required, as training will be provided.
Additional flight time requirements include 500 hours of cross-country flight time, defined as point-to-point, 200 hours of instrument time, with a minimum of 50 hours in an aircraft, and 100 hours of night flight time.
Applicants must hold a Commercial Pilot License, an Instrument Rating, and a Multi-Engine rating, all issued by the FAA. A Class 2 Medical Certificate is also required. While Covid-19 vaccination is not specifically mandated, candidates must meet all other qualifications. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Furthermore, candidates must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for Pilot-in-Command in IFR conditions. Previous FAR 121/135 experience is necessary, as is a current Instrument Proficiency Check or a 121/135 recurrent check within the past 6 months. High performance and complex aircraft endorsements are mandatory. The selected candidate must also meet airport badging requirements, which includes successfully passing a TSA Security background check. A FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit, a valid driver's license, and a current passport are also required for this position.
