About the Role
Allegiant Air is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Flight Attendants. Based in the United States, these essential workers are responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers throughout their journey. Flight Attendants play a crucial role in customer service, representing the airline and contributing to the efficient operation of flights by managing passenger and product accountability. This position requires adherence to FAA and TSA regulations and promotes the sale of Allegiant's products and services.
Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.

Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Must be able to perform all functions as needed for the position.

Must be able to attend a minimum of 4 1/2 weeks of training in Las Vegas and be willing to share a hotel room with a fellow classmate.

Relocation to the domicile after training, if required, is at the applicant's expense.

Must be able to react quickly using good judgment.

Ability to walk comfortably while facing forward down an aircraft aisle.

Capability to rapidly maneuver and fit through aircraft overwing exits.

Ability to fit into a jump seat harness without modification or extension to the seatbelt and harness.

Capability to quickly and efficiently sit down and fasten seatbelts with a sense of urgency.

Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable using a tablet (e.g., iPad).

Names on all required forms of identification must match one another.

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to receive and understand instructions, directives, ensure safety, and interact with customers.

Must possess personal characteristics including the ability to communicate well with diverse individuals using diplomacy and tact, relate to other cultures with respect, work effectively as part of a team, perform under pressure, assess situations promptly, exercise good judgment and flexibility, and respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.

Punctuality and maintaining reliable attendance are essential functions of the job.

Ability to present a professional image, including a neat, well-groomed appearance as outlined in the Flight Attendant Uniform Style Guide.
Qualifications

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.

High School Diploma/GED.

Minimum one (1) year of direct customer service experience.

About the Job
Flight Attendants are integral to Allegiant Air's operations, performing duties across several key areas:

Security:
Conduct pre-boarding security checks of aircraft, customers, and baggage; provide support to crewmembers and leadership; and offer direction and assistance to customers according to regulations and company policies.

Safety:
Perform pre-flight safety checks of the cabin, ensure passengers are seated and baggage is stored correctly, advise passengers on safety regulations, and take decisive action during unusual conditions such as mechanical malfunctions, medical emergencies, or unlawful acts. This includes assessing passengers for signs of intoxication or potential threats.

Comfort:
Serve and sell food, beverages, and goods to customers; attend to special customer needs; and effectively communicate travel-related information individually and via intercom.

Administrative:
Document and file reports, including inventory and trip reports; complete international paperwork as required; and timely upload onboard sales data.
Allegiant Air is considered an essential service provider and team members are expected to report to work during declared national and state emergencies unless prohibited by official orders.
