Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as Air Arabia’s ambassador; strives to achieve customer loyalty and to promote a positive corporate image, at all times, through enhancing the overall customer experience. They will provide excellent customer service to all passengers whilst ensuring their safety and comfort are achieved throughout the complete flight cycle. The ideal candidate will be ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with set measures and the company’s adopted policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, targets, and security checks.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifying safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA adopted procedures.
- Providing consistent and excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment before takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
- Ensuring orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Carrying out post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies.
- Accounting to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and fulfilling the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license.
- Contributing to team efforts by achieving related results and allocated sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airlines, aviation, or hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
