Cabin Crew Opportunity - Portugal Recruitment Drive

Job Purpose:

The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image through enhanced customer experiences. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight. He/She maintains readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, targets, and security/boarding procedures.
  • Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
  • Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Provides excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the guidelines outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, including sealing duty-free containers. Reports on passenger conduct and assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent and emergency procedure trainings, as well as educational workshops, and by maintaining current licenses. Contributes to team success by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 33 years
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
  • Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
  • Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Travel/Tourism diploma is a plus)
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added advantage.
  • Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
