Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as a vital ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image through exceptional customer service. The role encompasses ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout every stage of the flight, while maintaining readiness and fitness for duty, adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Conduct:
- Ensures punctuality, appropriate grooming, physical fitness, and legal compliance for all assigned flights.
- Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, assigned roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
Safety Protocols:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their well-being and comfort.
- Identifies and reports safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor, assisting in implementing corrective measures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly communicates any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Welcomes and assists passengers during boarding, accurately entering data into the aircraft logbook following Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines.
- Provides consistently excellent service, addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established protocols detailed in the Operations Manual.
- Actively promotes on-board meals, products, and the "Charity Cloud" program to maximize revenue and achieve individual and team objectives.
- Ensures the secure handling of cash and credit card payments related to sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reporting:
- Performs pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other essential items, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assists in maintaining cabin cleanliness at transit stations and ensures adequate restocking of catering and duty-free products.
- Ensures the orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from relevant staff.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor's performance, flight issues, and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assumes the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional competency and safety knowledge through continuous training, emergency drills, and ensuring current licensure.
- Contributes to team success by achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 30 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos while in uniform.
- Medically and physically fit for Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the assistance of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in customer service roles within the airline, aviation, or hospitality sectors is highly valued.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts and for extended periods.
- Demonstrates adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
